Amazing sculpture at Crystal Bridges Art Museum in Bentonville. I must go again another day.
A butterfly I found in the rain last week while I was walking to work. I was so tempted to pick it up, but I didn’t want the oils from my hands to damage its wings. In the end it didn’t matter, there was a nearby bird.
It was a windy day today at the park. We flew kites and decided to take funny pictures of the wind slapping our faces.
A brief conversation about driving
Student 1: Of course I can drive, how old do you think I am!?
Me: I don’t know, you guys all look 12 to me.
Student 2: Well you look like you’re 14.
Incidentally, I was wearing a sweater with a bear on it. WHY!?
Went to OKC yesterday with some friends to walk around the Asian district. It was a very gluttonous day. We went to a dim sum restaurant, bubble tea cafe, so MANY bakeries, and banh mi shops, and a pho restaurant for dinner. Yeah, I think I’m going to fast for today.
Saturday I went hiking in Devil’s Den with a few friends. The weather was gorgeous! It was a perfect day for hiking. We couldn’t go into any of the caves though, they were all closed due to the bats being sick with white nose syndrome. I also got to use my new point and shoot camera, I’m pretty impressed with it. Sony, you never let me down.
I’m so glad that spring break is here. I gotta cram in a lot of things this week besides studying for next week’s exams and working. I hope this week goes by excruciatingly slow.
So this morning I found my forgotten potato in its bag. I think I bought it maybe two weeks ago…I think I was going to make soup. The eyes have already sprouted, and like any normal girl, I googled “what to do with a sprouted potato”.
So thankful for a relaxing 2 day snow day. I got to finish finish all of my homework without any stress and had a little movie night with Mok. Hot cocoa, fruit, and biscoff, yum.
